What Happened in Class?

After discovering different meanings in homophones and homographs for our On-Task work, we went to the Computer Lab and typed up our Build-a-Story Narratives. For those students who finished, they turned out really great! They will be on display in the Library by the end of the week. We have improved so much on our conventions and writing techniques throughout this school year and hope to continue that process during the next few months of school. We also opened our Literature textbooks and read page 332, "Separate But Never Equal" and reviewed the questions at the end of the personal narrative. Most of the students have really enjoyed learning more about this time period of American history - post civil war/pre-civil rights ammendment.
